More than a place of learning,
Tranby is a movement.
Tranby has long been Australia’s oldest Aboriginal community-controlled organisation. Tranby has nurtured generations of changemakers, leaders and activists, through culturally grounded programs and safe spaces where culture and knowledge thrive.

A safe place to gather, yarn and act.
Tranby has always been more than just classrooms. Our story is tied to grassroots activism and community-led change. From historic campaigns for Land Rights and Black deaths in custody, to today’s national conversations, Tranby continues to be a culturally safe meeting place for our people to pursue learning on their own terms.
Strengthening identity, amplifying voices, creating change.
The thousands of people who have walked through Tranby have become more connected with culture, confident in their identity and ready to make a difference. Their impact spreads like ripples in water, throughout families and communities nationally.
