Venue Hire Booking Terms and Conditions

Any booking you make for room hire at Tranby Aboriginal Co-operative Limited (‘Tranby’) is subject to these terms and conditions. By making a booking, you agree to act in accordance with and subject to the terms below. 

Please note upon booking full payment is required and you will be automatically invoiced. If you require further information, please contact reception@tranby.edu.au, or call 9660 3444. 

 

Room Bookings 

Venue Hire bookings are available full day 9am until 4pm Monday – Friday, or half day (4 hours – start time from 9am to 12am), unless otherwise pre-arranged.  

Confirmation of number of attendees is required at the time of booking for security and safety. 

At the start of your venue hire, you need to meet at reception at the main Tranby building.  

Our friendly staff will be on hand to assist with set-up of Tranby equipment from 8:45 am on the day of your booking. However, as we are a small team and not technical specialists, please consider this when asking staff for additional requests. We will try and accommodate all requests as much as possible. 

Rooms need to be vacated by 4pm, unless otherwise pre-arranged, so that we can lock up the campus for the day. Please specify the start and end time of your booking (between 9am – 4pm) in your reservation form. 

Please be aware Tranby staff will be on campus throughout the day.

Payment 

  1. Invoices will be issued at the time of the booking. 
  2. Payment is throughcredit card.
  3. Full payment of venue hire is topaidat the time of the booking to secure any room.  
  4. Upon booking you will be automatically issued an invoice.

 

Cancellations 

  1. 5. Please inform us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel your booking.

5.1. Cancellations made up to 7 days prior to the agreed first day of hire will result in a full refund of the payment. 

5.2. Cancellations made 3-6 days prior to the agreed first day of hire will result in a 50% refund of the payment. 

5.3. Cancellations made less than 72 hours (3 days) prior to the agreed first day of hire will forfeit the entire payment.  

5.3.1 Exceptions to the cancellation policy are at the discretion of Tranby Aboriginal Co-operative Ltd.  

  1. 6. If a deposit is to be refunded, itwill go back onto the credit card that was initially paid with. 
  2. 7. Tranby reserves the right to cancel and refunda venue hire booking at our discretion.  

 

Responsibility 

  1. 8. Tranbyis not responsible for the performance, quality, or delivery of services provided by third-party vendors or contractors. Any agreements with external providers are made directly between the client and those providers.

 

Code of Conduct 

  1. 9. Clients and their guests must behave respectfully and follow all laws and Venue rules while on the premises. The Venue may ask any person to leave if their behaviour is unsafe, illegal, or disruptive.
